He is survived by: his wife Tresa (Longcore); his children, Tia Nielsen (Kyle) and Steven Nielsen (Delaney); and his siblings, James Nielsen (Victoria), Peggy Hansen (late Gary), Suzy Levy (Gary), Debby Gingrich (James), Ellie Bohms (late Ric), Richard Nielsen (Mary Ellen) and Lori Goodyke (Kevin). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
