Joe Scheible wrote a sympathy message

“To all of Ralph's family from my family we send love and sympathy I knew Ralph from when I was 11, 63 years ago. He helped me acclimate to city life from rural life. He taught me to drive on his 65 Chevy. We called each other brother because of closeness. The thousands of stories we shared, from "hanging out' on The Corner to attending so many of his math classes at UMass that his professor made me take the test, I passed. I will always remember him as "Buddy" and will deeply miss his presence.”
