He is survived by: his wife Anne Potter Wismer; his mother Helen Patricia Mayes of Towson, Maryland; and his siblings, Robert H. Wismer (Teresa) of East Berlin, Pennsylvania, Lisa Wismer Alluisi of Perry Hall, MD, Rebecca Mayes Engel (Andy) of Timonium, MD and Jacklynn Mayes Aiken of Edgewood, MD..
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sherwood Episcopal Church (5 Sherwood Rd, Cockeysville, MD 21030). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, October 11th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar (8985 Tamiami Trl N, Naples, FL 34108).
