She was predeceased by: her husband Albert J. Atkocius; her siblings, John and Adele; and her parents, Kostantas Markunas and Magdaline Markunas (Staficinskas).
She is survived by: her children, Albert J. Atkocius, Jr. (Linda) of Auburn and Laura Atkocius of Henroci, VA; her granddaughters, Suzanne (Brian) of Ashland, Amy (Ken) of Belgium, Christina (James) of Richmond, VA and Sarah (Donovan) of Creede, CO; her great grandchildren, Emily, Hannah and Gabriel; her sister Anna Piasecki of Worcester; and her niece Diane Howard of Connecticut.
