Robert A. Capwell Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert A. Capwell in Naples, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 15, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Robert farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Robert is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George L. Capwell and Margaret Capwell; and his siblings, Kathleen McGuiness (James McGuiness), George, Capwell, Jr. (Noreen Capwell) and Dorothy Capwell.
He is survived by: his wife Loretta; his daughter Carrie (Eric Immesberger); his grandchildren, Blake and Kiera; and his sister Jeanne Harris. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
Their time in Guayaquil was especially memorable because several of Bob's family members lived in Guayaquil, and the city boasts a soccer stadium named after Bob's father, due to his many contributions to sports in Guayaquil.
