He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Bernson and Ethel Bernson. He is survived by: his wife Isabel Colls; his children, Gary Bernson (Rebecca) of Charleston, SC and Laurie Stolmaker (Neil) of San Francisco, CA; his stepchildren, Denise Bloom (Peter) of Naples and Sherrin Weinman of Naples; his siblings, Sandra Morse and Hank Bernson; his grandchildren, Matthew Bernson, Noah, Logan Stolmaker, Lindsay, Michael Bloom, Gregg and Jeff Weinman; and his great grandchildren, Madison Breunig and Cameron Rusin.
The family asked that any memorial donations be made to Alzheimer's Association, to aid in the care and research of dementia.
