He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Clifford Canter, Sr. and Lela M. Canter; his wife Jean Griffitts Canter; and his siblings, Mae Olinger, Lizzie Surber, Ruth Shortt of Mary Cardwell, J. C, Paul Clifford Canter Jr., Charles "Buddy" Canter and Sid Canter.
He is survived by: his sons, Michael Canter of Naples, Fla. and Roy Canter (Terry) of Pembroke Pines, Fla.; his grandchildren, Michael of Naples, Fla., Christopher (Crystal) of Naples, Fla. and Sara (Kestona) of Naples, Fla.; and his great grandchildren, Jolie and Kobe.
