He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Edward Rider and Mary Rider (Hull); his brother Donald; and his wife Gail Rider (Myers). He is survived by: his brother Wilson; his children, Nancy (Richard Beckert) and James (Michelle Rider); his granddaughter Megan (Christopher Beutel); his great grandchildren, Ryan and Aiden; his grandson Timothy (Joan Beckert); his great grandchildren, Allison and Elizabeth; and his grandchildren, Emily (Evan Topham) and Samuel Rider.
