He was predeceased by: his parents, Col. Frank Pleasants Stainback, Jr. and Nancy White Stainback; and his son Paul Lydolph, III. He is survived by: his wife Judith Ann La Marche; his daughter Tamara Bryant Kahn (Edward); his daughter-in-law Kirsten Elisa Lydolph; his brothers, Dr. Frank Pleasants Stainback, III (Laura) and David Allen Stainback (Nancy); and his grandchildren, Naomi Lydolph, Margaret Lydolph, Paul "Søren" Lydolph, Teri "Tipi" Gutierrez, Jane Lydolph and Robert "Magnus" Lydolph. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
