He was predeceased by: his parents, G. G. Walters and Louise Walters; his former wife Gay; and his son G. G. (Chip Walters, II). He is survived by: his wife Freda; and his daughter Linda. He is also survived by two grandsons, four step-children, seven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren from his second wife.
