He was predeceased by: his parents, John Haas and Gertrude Haas (Stoll). He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Haas (Clement) of Wisconsin Rapids, WI.; his children, John H. Haas (Kelly) of St. Clair Shores, MI, Kristina Smekens (Brady) of Warren, IN and Laura Comilla (Lee Trollope) of Libertyville, IL; his grandchildren, Kourtney Thalgott, Zackary Thalgott, Sophia Smekens, Andrew Smekens, Sydney Smekens, Brett Thalgott, Grace Comilla, Lina Haas and Alida Comilla; his sister Sherry Holman (Chuck) of Tucson, AZ; his nephew Matthew Holman; and his nieces, Marisa Saunders (Dusty) and Marlena Holman.
