She was predeceased by: her parents, Rebecca Krock (Rovit) and Nathan Ralph Krock; and her brother Mitchell Krock of Swampscott, Massachusetts.. She is survived by: her daughter Karen Anderson of Seattle; Tom Whitmore. She is also survived by five nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, gifts in Ruth's memory may be made to Chabad of Naples or to the University of Massachusetts, Boston.
