She was predeceased by: her husband Arthur Leo Carter; her parents, George Giles and Jean Giles (Herzog); and her sister Nancy Pinare. She is survived by: her brother Greg Giles (Jolly); and her children, Paul Wood, Sarah Jean Blodgett (Dana), Reckita Case (Bill), Teresa McQuoid (Dan), Simone Deni (Jim) and Kathleen Todd (Michael McDonald). She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren.
