She was predeceased by: her parents, John Ferranti and Anna Ferranti (Simeone); her granddaughters, Gemma (Ed) and Terezia; and her siblings, Antonetta, Isabel, Jenny and Joe.
She is survived by: her husband Edward M. Holihen; her pet Cala; her sons, Kevin (Jose) and Terry (Courtney); her grandchildren, Juliana, Shane Edward, Ryan, Lucia, Elijah, Peter, Thomas, James and Mariella; and her niece Karen (Jack) of Narragansett, RI.
In lieu of flowers: donations can be made in Sylvia's memory to the Naples Philharmonic.
