She is survived by: her husband Mark Owens of Naples; her children, Emma Uzupes Owens and Nathan Owens of Florida; and her siblings, Vinson Uzupes of Hawley, Pennsylvania, Lisa Slish (Michael Slish) of Seelyville, Pennsylvania, Cheryl Podhany (Michael Zabresky) of Scranton, Pennsylvania and Carin Podhany (August Opalek) of Blakely, Pennsylvania. She is also survived by aunts, uncles, sister-in-laws, brother-in-laws and many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces.
