She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Barbo and Mary Jeraldi Barbo; her husband Alberto Miyara; her close friend Joel Bass; her daughter Gabrielle J. Miyara; and her sisters, Lucy Branzetti and Charlotte Wilder.

She is survived by: her son Richard S. Miyara; her daughter-in-law Lisa LaVaude Miyara of Bow, NH; her grandchildren, Jocelyn C. Miyara of Brooklyn, NY and Louis C. Miyara of Boston, MA; and her sisters, Ellena B. O'Toole of Washington, DC, Janet Martel of Hingham, MA and Patricia C. Gunches of Woodland Hills, CA.. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
