He was predeceased by: his parents, William F. Ames and Gertrude M. (Linscott); and his sister Julene. He is survived by: his significant other Annie Ames; his daughter Christina; his grandsons, Jacob Caras and Robert Ames; his daughter Pamela (Todd); his grandchildren, Zachary, Callan and Evangeline; his stepchildren, Jane Abell, Kendra, Melissa Boccelli, Katie Grote, Bob Sawyer, Kyle, Teanna Grote, Tom Grote and Rick Neal; and his sisters, Mary, Carolyn, Dorothy and Joan. He is also survived by 15 step-grandchildren and 11 step-great-grandchildren.
