He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvester Cecil and Mary Agnes Cooper Cecil; and his brothers, James, Robert and Ben Cecil.
He is survived by: his wife Rita Cecil; his children, Mark William Cecil (Jennifer Driggers), Sabra Cecil Raudenbush (Mark Raudenbush) and Laura Cecil; his sister Ann Murphy (Tom) of Dallas, Texas.; his grandchildren, Alice Cecil, Ellen Cecil-Lemkin, Kaity Brawley, Matthew Cecil, Kathleen Cecil, David Richardson, Christopher Cecil, Jackson Spaugh, Max Seixas, Cecilia Spaugh and Alex Cecil; his sister-in-law Joyce Johnson; and his niece Debbie Seaton. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
