He was predeceased by: his parents, William B. Alden and Beatrice Alden LaPoint; and his son Christopher Scott. He is survived by: his wife Patricia M. Smatko of Naples; his daughter Juliet of Minneapolis, MN.; his siblings, Patricia Nichols (Ben Junk) of Arizona, Nancy Wilson and Mark Alden (Diane) of New Hampshire; and his sister-in-law Margaret Sheehan of Queensbury, NY. He is also survived by numerous nieces & nephews.
