He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward A. Bathke and Carol M. Bering; his wife Deborah Zimmerman; his siblings, Gary Bathke, Kirk Bathke, Kevin Bathke and Kathy Bakalars; and his parents-in-law, Reinhold and Arlane Zimmerman.
He is survived by: his children, Corrine Bylund (Dan Leonard) of Neptune Beach, Nicole Champeny of Sturgeon Bay and Samuel Bathke (Courtney Gallant) of Redmond, Oregon.; his granddaughter Althea "Lou Lou" Bathke; his brothers, Ken Bathke of New Castle, PA and Edward Bathke of LaCrosse, WI; his stepmother Marge Witt of LaCrosse, WI; his siblings-in-law, Lynn Corcoran of Sturgeon Bay, WI and Gene Zimmerman (Sandy) of Green Bay, WI; and his brother Samuel Schoonover of Washington. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
