Anna Marie McCoon, 56, of New Port Richey, Florida, passed away in the early hours of April 30, 2025. A gifted and passionate advanced landscape architect, Anna made a lasting impact in the field, blending creativity with nature to transform spaces and leave behind beautiful, sustainable environments. Her work was a reflection of her deep love for the outdoors and her commitment to making the world a greener, more vibrant place.
Anna is survived by her two beloved children, son: Matthew H. Massey, Jr. (wife Jessica; sons Hunter and Carter), daughter: Amber C. Sharp (husband Kris); her fiancée, Antonio Nelson; her brother, Henry, her sister, Nancy; and her two cherished dogs, Athena & Baby Girl. She will be remembered for her unwavering passion, boundless creativity, and her ability to create understanding with everyone she met.
She was a dedicated mother, loyal partner, and a friend to all who knew her. Her presence in the world will be deeply missed, but her legacy will live on in the beautiful landscapes she crafted and in the hearts of those who loved her.
A Celebration of Anna’s Life will be held at the Nature Coast Botanical Gardens (in the Rose Garden) on Saturday, June 7th, 2025 between 12PM - 3PM.
