He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Davis; his wife Joan (Leslie); his son Richard Atkinson; his brother Edward "Ned" Atkinson (Carole) of Medford, Mass.; and his brothers-in-law, John "Jack" Griffin of Palm Harbor, Florida and Paul Leslie (Wanda) of Townsend, Mass. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
