He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles "Buster" Getz and Josephine Smok; and his siblings, Frank Bajner and Theresa Gabrys. He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Getz; his children, Dawn Getz, Robert Getz and Richard Getz (Kim Getz); and his brother Charles Getz Jr.. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
