He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur George and Viola Angeline Applegate (Stewart); and his brother Ronald Applegate. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Jeanne Dailey (Dailey); his daughter Michelle Applegate (Daniel Smith); his grandchildren, Haylee Gamble, Jakob Gamble and Lukas Gamble; his sisters, Joyce Hickey and Janet Myers; his sister-in-law Joanne Widme (Alan Widme); his nieces, Christina Widme and Debra Mattinen; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Ty and Wyatt Mattinen.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Baldwin Brothers Funeral Home (1 N Causeway, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32169). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sea Pines Memorial Gardens (3001 S Ridgewood Ave, Edgewater, FL 32141). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Bistro (424 Luna Bella Ln suite 120 office f, New Smyrna Beach, FL 32168).
