He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover M. Bevel and Grace L. Bevel (McCormick). He is survived by: his brother Gerald Bevel (Linda Bevel); his son John G. Bevel, Jr.; his stepdaughter Lynn Longdon Halbfoster; his wife Joyce Russell Bevel; and his daughters, Teresa Bevel and Lori Sunday (Billy). He is also survived by two granddaughters and 3 great grandchildren.
