With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Lawrence Hampton of New Smyrna Beach, Florida, born in Plymouth, Ohio, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Lawrence left this world on August 14, 2025 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his daughter Julie Tisler; his parents, Richard Hampton and Gertrude Hampton; and his brothers, Jack, Bob, Roger, Martin and Darrell "Mic".
He is survived by: his wife Norma Hampton; his children, John Hampton of Norwalk, Tara Hampton, Brian Hampton of Lorain, Bradley Hampton of Lorain and Jeff Hampton of Plymouth; his stepson Ricky Swiney (Toni) of Lorain; and his sister Patricia Coey (Tom) of South Carolina. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; several great-grandchildren.
