He was predeceased by: his father Donald "Don" Simmons. He is survived by: his mother Thelma Mae Simmons (Hall) of Mechanicsburg; his sister Diana Herron (Timothy) of Mechanicsburg; and his nieces and nephews, Dana Ferrucci of Stafford, VA, Danelle Fitzgerald of Carlisle and Daniel Fitzgerald of Camp Hill.
