She was predeceased by: her husband Sam Stevenson Jr.; and her parent Mellie Pearl Fletcher of Georgia. She is survived by: her children, Karen Dowdy (Alan), Marcia Thompson (Robert) and Eric Stevenson (Karon). She is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
