He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Jack" William Hess and Coral Anne Frogett; his sister Barbara; and his son Scott. He is survived by: his daughter Kathleen Marie (Carl); his wife Pat; his daughter-in-law Karen; and his grandchildren, Andrew, Zachary, Patrick and Katherine. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Heritage Gardens Funeral Home (2201 Partin Dr N, Niceville, FL 32578). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at the Sunset Cemetery (211 Sunset Ln, Valparaiso, FL 32580).
