He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Alberta Green (Lauderdale) and Claude Vernon "CV" Green; his sister Patricia "Patsy" Ellen Robertson (Green); and his stepbrothers, Troy "Dutch" H. Maxwell and Paul "Bubba" E. Maxwell.

He is survived by: his wife Carol; his stepsister Ruth Anne Vagt; his brother Larry William Green; his grandchildren, Joanna Gail Green, James William Green, Monica Green, Ava Skye Green and John Dieter Green; and his nephew Benjamin "Ben" Robertson.

Gifts should be made payable as follows: Culver Educational Foundation with designation to CMA Class of 1963 Exemplar Fund.
