She was predeceased by: her parents, George Mabry and Marjorie Mabry; and her brothers, Melvin Lee Mabry and Kenneth Dale Mabry. She is survived by: her husband Hollis M. "Marty" Smith; her sons, Melvin Smith (Kathy) and Douglas Smith (Laurie); and her grandchildren, Anthony (Liz), Erin (Josh), Grayson (Brooke), Caleb (McKenzie) and Pierce. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Pioneer Bible Translators (pioneerbible.org for Anthony and Liz Smith – Bible Translators) or to the Alzheimer's Association.
