She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Lindsey and Dolen Lindsey; her sister-in-law LaRree Gonnering; and her nephew Bennie Watson. She is survived by: her husband Larry Byrd; her children, Bubba (Jennifer), Amy (Scott) and Rick (Jeana); her grandchildren, Robert, Lawren, Lance, Dillon, Alexia, Emma, Brooks and Griffin; her great grandchildren, Marshall and Rhiannon; and her siblings, Lou (Bev), Barb and Mary (Sam). She is also survived by her husband, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Heritage Gardens Funeral Home (2201 Partin Dr N, Niceville, FL 32578). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Southern Heritage Funeral Home (2201 Partin Dr N, Niceville, FL 32578). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 22nd 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Forest Hill Cemetery (431 60th St N, Birmingham, AL 35212).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that all floral arrangements be sent to Southern Heritage Funeral Home in Pelham, Alabama.
