It is with sadness that the passing of Mary Ellen Goss (Niceville, Florida) is shared. Mary Ellen, born on August 30, 1932 in Alton, Virginia, passed away on September 14, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Eddie Carter and Lillian Edwards; and her siblings, Andrew Carter, Aubrey Carter, Charles Carter, Sarah Calvert, Mildred Wilson and Jane Saunders.
She is survived by: her husband Charles R. Goss Jr.; her son Charles R. Goss III (Betty Jo); her grandchildren, Emilee (Jordan), Cassie (Aaron) and Davis; and her siblings, Hilda Norstrandt, Jimmy Carter and Thomas Carter.
A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (622 Bayshore Dr, Niceville, FL 32578).
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made in her honor to the First Baptist Church Children's Ministry.
