He was predeceased by: his parents, Arlie Wine and Elva Wine; and his wife Minnie. He is survived by: his children, Larry Kennedy of Bruce, FL and Lana Mikles (Chris) of Niceville; his grandchildren, Matthew Smith-Kennedy of Maryland, Stephen Kennedy of Atlanta, GA, Heath Rominger (Caryn) of Niceville, FL and Heather Rominger of Valparaiso, FL; his great grandchildren, Carissa Lee, Cameron Campbell of Valparaiso, FL and Emma Rominger of Niceville, FL.; his nieces, Stella and Charlotte Henley of Grady, AL; and his close friends, Peggy and Donell Mills. He is also survived by cousins in Virginia and many other nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flower, contribution may be made in Merle's name to the Building Fund at Rosemont Baptist church in Niceville, FL.
