He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Cloud and Perry Cloud; his wife Dorothy; and his sister Mary Louise Freeman. He is survived by: his daughters, Sandra Schlechter (Alvin) of Niceville, FL and Debra Beaty (John) of Indialantic, FL.; and his grandchildren, Lee Anne Privette (Michael), Brian Schlechter (Erin), Jack Schlechter (Lindsay), Joshua Beaty (Heather) and Shannon Beaty (Cody). He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren and his nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 22nd 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Heritage Gardens Funeral Home (2201 Partin Dr N, Niceville, FL 32578). The military honors will be held on Monday, December 22nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Heritage Gardens Funeral Home No Later (1 Cemetery Rd, Pensacola, FL 32508).
In lieu of flowers, the family would suggest donations be made to Disabled American Veterans.
