She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Kang Young Sup and Lee Hwa Sun; her children, Norma (Rusty) and Carlos Martell; her grandchildren, Ashley (Eddie) of Sophia, JR, Audrey and George; and her close friend Michael Jay Hoffmeyer.
