Shirley J. Poyer Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley J. Poyer of Niceville, Florida, born in Cincinnati, Ohio, who passed away on June 1, 2022, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, David Ries and Elizabeth "Betty" Ries; her husband Jeff Poyer; her children, Christy Dakin (Ben) and Kyle Poyer (Colleen); her grandchildren, Lilly and Abby Dakin; and her brother Barry Ries. She was also cherished by her children and grandchildren.

Memorial contributions in her honor may be made to the Kappa Alpha Theta Friendship Fund, Emerald Coast Alumnae Chapter.
