It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Douglas Allen Bowen of Nokomis, Florida, who passed away on December 9, 2024, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Bowen and Gloria Byrd Bowen; and his daughter Shanna Bowen. He is survived by: his wife Mary Anne Krise Bowen; his children, Nick Bowen (Beth) of Cantonment, FL, Bjay Ditto of Nokomis, FL, Winter Graham (John Levins) of Cantonment, FL, Justina Espejo (D. J.) of Cantonment, FL and Missy Stein (Erik); his brothers, Richard Bowen (Christy) and Robbie Bowen (Lisa); his grandchildren, Amber, Trevor, Landon, Makayla, Lexi, Sophia, Dalton, Brooklynn, Easton, Christian, Scottie, Sydney, James, Gracie, Breanna, Miah and Lana; and his brothers, Ricky Golson, Grady Hart and Greg McKinley. He is also survived by five great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and his special friends.
Flowers will be accepted but donations can be made to American Cancer Society and the American Lung Association.
