He was predeceased by: his parents, Blair (Eva Lauffer) and John; and his son-in-law Craig Champagne. He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Jacquelyn Champagne, Jodi Acree (DeWayne) and Timothy Lauffer; his grandchildren, Jasmine Champagne, Gabrielle Acree, Lillian Day (Tyler), Caleb Acree and Isaiah Acree; his great grandchild Silas Patrick Day; and his sister Claire Grabovez (Vic).
A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church (425 S Tamiami Trail, Osprey, FL 34229).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church or the Knights of Columbus Council 15821, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish.
