Joseph Gillespie Obituary

We are sad to announce that on April 14, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Joseph Gillespie of Nokomis, Florida, born in Brooklyn, New York. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Joseph Gillespie to show support.

As we bid Joseph farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Joseph is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Dr. Richard (Ann Gillespie) and Nokomis; and his brother Paul Gillespie. He is survived by : his wife Mary; and his sister Debra Gavilaines (Raul). He is also survived by 23 nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 10th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Thomas More Church (2506 Gulf Gate Dr, Sarasota, FL 34231).
