He was predeceased by: his brother Dan Jacobs; his parents, Jim Jacobs and Carol Jacobs of Guttenberg; and his grandparents, Walt, Lottie, Jack and Violet Schenke of Colesburg.

He is survived by: his brother Jeffrey Jacobs of Washington, DC.
