She was predeceased by: her parents, William Sawers and Ada Diss Sawers; her husband Dennis Gerald Wright; and her siblings, Lillian Payne, Ruth Roberts and William Sawers.

She is survived by: her sons, Gerald Dennis "Gerry" Wright (Carol) of Wake Forest, Thomas Peter "Tom" Wright of Durham, Brian Patrick Wright of Salisbury and Timothy John "Tim" Wright (Nancy) of Mebane; and her grandchildren, Graham (Leslie), Jonathan (Kasey), Chelsea (Larry), Brittany (Justin), Ben, Jesse (Elizabeth), Val, Dylan, Shannon, Abby and Chloe. She is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren; along with extended family and many dear friends.
