He was predeceased by: his brother Prakash. He is survived by: his parents, Pooran Tilak and Parbaty Tilak; his wife Chandrawatti; and his siblings, Pearly, Annie, Dilip, Annet, Ravin and Pamela. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 4:30 PM to 9:00 PM at the Fred Hunter's Funeral Home (6301 Taft St, Hollywood, FL 33024). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
