He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Dimond and Hazel Dimond; and his sisters, Sharon Case and Gloria Hawkinson. He is survived by: his wife Dianne Dimond of Hollywood, Florida; his daughter Michelle Nichols (Andrew) of Oceanside, California; his grandson Seth Nichols of Oceanside, California; and his son Dustin Ebaugh (Kirissa) of Lee's Summit, Missouri.. He is also survived by nephews, many cousins, extended family members, longtime friends.
A prayer was held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery (1500 S State Rd 7, North Lauderdale, FL 33068).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Richard's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, an organization whose mission reflects his compassion and care for others.
