Michelle Hamilton wrote a sympathy message

“Hello, first I want to send my prayers love, and condolences to the father brother and family. Being honest I tend to think about Bryan a lot especially around his birthday and the month of December. I didn't know him personally but I was always as 163 st mall everyday around the same time waiting to go home. Shortly after moving there I noticed that 163 was where the thugs, prostitutes drunks and druggies would hang out and it was around that time that I noticed Bryan I could tell instantly that he wasn't like every body that was there. He had manners showed respect to the big time dudes at the mall but always did his own thing which would be to ride his bike doing wheelies up and down the street and I would always watch him in amazement as though I never seen a wheelie before. The day before he passed I was shopping at the Walmart and I felt a different vibe in the air while at the bus stop because that day was the first day since I had moved there that I didn't see hardly anyone but him. He looked me in my eyes and I could tell something was wrong but he never said anything to me and when I got the courage to speak to him my bus had pulled up. The very next day while I was on my way there is when I got the news. I think about him all the time and feel as though if I would have said something to him I could have sheltered him and kept him safe. I can only pray now that he is at peace in heaven and understand how sorry I am for not speaking up”
