Edith Schecter Obituary

We are sad to announce that on October 10, 2025, Edith Schecter of North Miami Beach, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Arnie Schecter; her children, Aileen Berger (Eric), Scott Schecter (Suzi) and Barry Schecter (Sharon); her grandchildren, Justin Berger (Kristen), Brittany Berger, Matthew Schecter (Sara), Evan Schecter (Beth), Alex Schecter and Josh Schecter (Nicole); her great grandchildren, Alexis Berger, Hannah, Noah, Leah Schecter, Ari, Penny Schecter and Jacob Schecter; her sisters, Sandra Swickle (Harvey) and Sheryl Gilson (Neal); and her great-nephews, Marc, Adam (Dana), Steven Swickle (Lisa), Jason (Robin) and Seth Gilson (Diana).

A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 12:30 PM and at 1:30 PM at the Mount Sinai Memorial Park Cemetery (1125 NW 137th St, Miami, FL 33168).
