He was predeceased by: his grandson Andres Brugada. He is survived by: his wife Hilda Magaly Blanco Abreu; his children, Magaly Emily Nigro (Juan Brugada) and Jose Antonio Nigro (Patrick Carroll); and his granddaughter Emily Brugada.
