With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dana Hamel of North Palm Beach, Florida, who passed away on September 4, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Kathryn Poore Hamel; his brother Stanley Arthur Hamel; his sister-in-law Suzanne Davis (Kingsbury Davis); and his parents, Arthur Anthony and Pauline Maria Hamel (Little).
He is survived by: his children, David Arthur Hamel (Debbie Hamel), Douglas Poore Hamel (Teresa Hamel) and Karen Pauline Hamel Simas (John Simas); his grandchildren, Sean Oliver Hamel, Sarah Clark-Hamel, Skyler Dana Clark-Hamel (Stacey LeClair), Eleanor "Ellie" Kathryn Simas, Corbin Dana Simas (Isabel Berzansky), Bradley John Simas and Dylan Arthur Hamel; his nieces, Jennifer Davis, Cynthia Davis Jackson and Kathryn Davis Howard; Karol Ann Hamel.
