He was predeceased by: his parents, Hiram Gifford and Betta Gifford; his sisters, Kathy Wiles and Terri Harris; and his nephew Greg Wiles.

He is survived by: his wife Vickie; his sons, Scott and Brad; and his stepchildren, Jayme (Michael) and Andrew (Ashlee). He is also survived by many other family members and friends.
