She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Dowdy and Sallie Mae Brailsford; her husband Henry Solomon; her son Andrew Dowdy; and her siblings, Mary Lou Bell and John Tindal.
She is survived by: her children, Spencer, McCoy Dowdy (Lois), Jimmy Garrett, Henrietta Daugherty, Daniel, Solomon (Barbara), Lee Melvin Solomon, Rebecca Rora (Wendell) and Paul Solomon (Lisa); her sister Maddie Bannister (Willie); and her stepdaughter Elease Solomon.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Sellers Funeral Home, Inc. (440 SW Broadway St, Ocala, FL 34475). A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, December 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Shady Oaks Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses (3660 SW 7th Pl, Ocala, FL 34474).
